Thank you to the 4,178 voters of the Montebello Unified School District who supported my candidacy on Election Day and to the countless student interns, volunteers and supporters who made our campaign possible.

We ran a strong campaign of fresh ideas and although we fell short of obtaining a seat on the school board, our message of restoring trust in our schools resonated with the community and inspired ordinary people to participate in our movement.

Congratulations to the three incumbents on their successful re-election to the Board of Education. I hope that the campaign experience has provided them with a renewed sense of commitment to our children and parents, as it has for me.

Election Day was not the end for us. Our work has just begun and I invite you to join me in the months and years ahead, as I continue to serve as an agent of change in our community.
